Minister of Police Affairs, Dr Muhammad Maigari Dingyadi, has underscored the need to strengthen the synergy between the police and citizenry in the fight against all forms of violent crimes in Nigeria.
“Together, we will win the peace and enhance security,” he stated. The minister stressed the government’s commitment to ensuring justice for victims of crime and their perpetrators and providing safety to create a conducive environment for economic growth.
He, however, pointed out the government would continue to require support to promote inclusiveness and a consistent campaign against’ enemies of our collective good.’
Dingyadi also assured the government was fast-tracking the police salaries increment, adding that they had implemented part of it. “Soon, it would be fully implemented.”
