Northwest University, Sokoto, has begun admission into its 2025/2026 academic programmes.
The Registrar, Alhaji Umar Mussa Garun Babba, invited all qualified candidates to enrol in its fully accredited courses across five vibrant faculties and the distinguished College of Health Sciences.
Programmes under the College of Health Sciences include Medicine (MBBS), Nursing, Medical Laboratory Science, Radiography, Physiotherapy, Public Health, and Environmental Health.
The Faculty of Computing and Sciences offers courses in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Biology, Chemistry, Industrial Mathematics, and Physics with Electronics.
The Faculty of Social and Management Sciences includes Business Administration, Public Administration, Sociology, Psychology, Accounting, Banking and Finance, Mass Communication, Public Relations, and Information and Media Studies.
Other available programmes are Library and Information Science, Educational Management, Educational Technology, Special Education, Computer Science Education, and Social Studies Education in the Faculty of Education, while the Faculty of Law offers an LLB in Law.
The Registrar explained that candidates seeking admission through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) must have chosen Northwest University as their first choice and scored a minimum of 150 marks in the examination conducted by JAMB.
For direct entry admission, he said candidates must possess at least an A-level qualification with credit passes.
