Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko has commiserated with the Aminu Dantata family, the government and people of Kano State, and the entire business community over the passing of the renowned Kano business tycoon and philanthropist.
The former governor of Sokoto State and senator representing Sokoto North Senatorial District conveyed his profound condolences in a statement on Saturday.
He highlighted the late Dantata’s contributions to trade, community development, and humanitarian assistance. He noted that Alhaji Aminu Dantata was a towering figure in Nigeria’s business landscape whose integrity, foresight, and generosity impacted countless lives.
“He served as a vital source of support for numerous families, entrepreneurs, and charitable initiatives,” Senator Wamakko pointed out.
The senator added that the death had left a significant void that would be challenging to fill.
He hoped that the legacy of integrity, charitable giving, and dedication to community service exemplified by the late Alhaji Aminu Dantata would inspire future generations.
