Kebbi State First Lady, Hajia Zainab Nasir Idris, has disbursed more than N10 million to about 900 Christian widows in Sakaba and Danko-Wasagu Local Government Areas of the state.
The widows’ support programme carried out by the NASARA FOUNDATION was held at the United Missionary Church of Africa UMCA Machika
In his remarks, the State coordinator NASARA FOUNDATION Abdulrasheed Bala ,said a total sum of N8.3million was shared among 830 Christian widows in the area while the organizers of the programme benefited N2 million as equal empowerment.
The coordinator also revealed that apart from this gesture, arrangements are on top gear to ensure the widows are train on versions skills by the FOUNDATION in other for them to be self-reliance.
