Displaced persons from Tabanni in Sokoto State are still terrified by the July 9 bandits attack on their village. Now camped in Gandi, they recount their experiences and why they dread going home. The displaced dwellers of Tabanni in Raba area of Sokoto may be enjoying respite at the IDP camp in Gandi District but many of them still shudder at the thought of going back to their village recently ravaged by bandits.
